Key Inclusion Criteria:

  • Between the ages of 7 and 15 years old with one of the following neurologic devices:

    • Cerebral Shunt
    • Cochlear Implant
    • Deep Brain Stimulator (DBS)
    • Implanted Bladder System (VOCARE® Bladder Spinal Peripheral Nerve System) (ages 14-15 only)
    • Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) (ages 12-15 only)

  • Live in close proximity to one of three study sites, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Parklawn Building in Rockville, Maryland, the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

    The study is also available to allow for telephone interviews if a subject cannot attend an appointment in person.
Key Exclusion Criteria:
  • Participation in another clinical investigation that could be jeopardized by participation in the current study.
  • Children with severe cognitive impairments (such as children with head injuries and severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy) may be excluded because they may not be capable of self-reporting procedures.
  • Congenital Pediatric Hydrocephalus
